Elizabeth Sinofsky is a dynamic leader and visionary with over 30 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, and administrative operations. She currently serves as an Operations Supervisor at UC Davis Health, where she oversees HR functions, staff development, onboarding, and DEI initiatives for the Facilities Planning & Development Department.

Elizabeth is one of the Founders of From Bars to Brilliance: The Healing Collective, a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline by uplifting the voices of those most impacted by incarceration. Her flagship initiative, Truth for the Youth, is a transformative storytelling program that pairs trauma-informed curriculum with real, raw letters from incarcerated individuals, survivors of crime, correctional staff, and family members of both victims and the incarcerated. These stories speak to the ripple effects of crime, healing, and accountability.

Prison Fellowship has partnered with Elizabeth on Truth for the Youth, supporting its early development and helping bring its message into new spaces. Through this collaboration, the program is hopeful to reach institutions and communities where these narratives can educate and redirect at-risk youth before they follow the same path.

Elizabeth has completed coursework in Human Resources Management, Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt), and advanced child protection studies focused on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). Her training also includes Managing Implicit Bias, Investigative Analysis, DEI strategy—and most recently, she became a Certified Trauma-Informed Coach and a Certified Neuroscience Coach in May 2025. Her work is grounded in restorative justice, trauma-awareness, and the belief that healing is a collective act.

Her StrengthsFinder 2.0 top five strengths are: Strategic, Individualization, Input, Adaptability, and Connectedness—all of which inform her leadership style and deep commitment to transformative impact.

Known for her strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and ability to connect across cultures and sectors, Elizabeth has resolved complex workplace conflicts and built inclusive, values-driven teams rooted in compassion and growth.

She has also served as President and Vice President of Soroptimist International, a global volunteer organization committed to improving the lives of women and girls through education, empowerment, and social advocacy.

Through this work, Elizabeth led community service initiatives, mentored women in transition, and helped raise awareness around domestic violence, poverty, and gender inequality.

Her greatest strength lies in her ability to hold space for pain, truth, and hope—while guiding others toward transformation.
